The focus of this class is a continued exploration of hand fabrication and soldering skills. This is a mixed level class that is designed for the student who has completed at least one beginning level class with Donna. Students should have a basic understanding of silver soldering.
During this 8 week session, we will explore handmade chains, clasps & stone setting. Additional techniques will be added as class progresses.
As this is a mixed level class, we will meet as a group at the beginning of the session to discuss which additional techniques will be covered.
Examples of what will be covered include hand-fabricated chains, tube setting, flush setting and simple prong setting.
