A little bit about Donna:

Donna D’Aquino grew up in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State. She received her BS in Design from The State University College of New York at Buffalo, and her MFA in Jewelry/Metalsmithing from Kent State University.

Originally trained in Graphic Design, D’Aquino was interested in becoming an illustrator. While taking a metalsmithing workshop, she was handed wire and told to “draw”. This experience began the exploration and ongoing body of work consisting of 2 and 3-dimensional linear drawings. The pieces evolved into both wearable drawings and objects. They could be worn on the body and/or displayed as a piece of art hanging on the wall.

D’Aquino’s work can be seen in over 25 books and magazines. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally and received numerous awards and honors. Her work is held in both public and private collections throughout
the US.

D’Aquino currently lives in Georgia, where she maintains a full time studio practice.
